President’s Office appeals for alcohol-free New Year
With the New Year holiday fast approaching, the President’s Office has written to numerous state officials, asking them to intensify the president’s “Together for Mongolia without Alcohol” campaign.
In the appeal, the President’s Office asks that alcohol not be served at state New Year parties and other functions; that appropriate measures be taken against those who consume alcohol at work, as per ethics guidelines; and that managing officials and state employees refrain from participating in events that promote the use of alcohol.
