SSIA monitors drug factories
The State Specialized Inspecting Agency (SSIA) recently inspected pharmaceutical plants, medical supply companies, and pharmacies.
The SSIA checked 30 drug factories, 100 medical supply companies, and some 800 pharmacies.
The inspections revealed that some drug factories were producing drugs in non-sterile conditions, and that 92 drugs that were not registered with the state or failed to meet quality standards were being sold.
It was also revealed that 14 drugs produced in 13 factories did not meet state standards.
