New Delhi, Dec. 19 ( ANI ): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said that India and Mongolia need increased cooperation for effective prevention and detection of crime with the growth of global terrorism , transnational crimes like drug trafficking, smuggling of illegal arms and ammunition.

New Delhi, Dec 19 (IANS): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh Friday said India and Mongolia should increase their cooperation for "effective prevention and detection" of issues like terrorism and trans-national crimes.

India today assured all help to Mongolia in increasing its capabilities in areas of special operations, cyber security and weapons and tactics as a delegation of the east-central Asian country's border guarding force met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh here.

Since Mongolia became a global partner of NATO less than two years ago, the NATO Science for Peace and Security (SPS) Programme has supported a number of projects in the field of science and innovation. An event to review these efforts and identify ways to further enhance collaboration took place in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on 27 November.
