DRAFT AMENDMENT PRESENTED
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A group of MPs including J.Sukhbaatar and N.Batbayar submitted on Thursday a draft amendment to the Constitution to N.Enkhbold, the Vice Speaker of parliament.
The MPs want to change a clause "members of the State Great Khural shall be remunerated from the State budget during their tenure and shall not hold concurrently any posts and employment other than those assigned by law" into "not more than one third of the cabinet members can be members of the State Great Khural".
In addition, the parliamentarians created a regulation to electing of the soums' governors with votes from their inhabitants.
