N.TUVSHINBAYAR WINS GOLD IN S.KOREA
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A State Honored Sportsman and Hero of Labor N.Tuvshinbayar has won a gold medal at the World Cup competitions.
The events took place last weekend in Jeju, South Korea. He has competed in the weight category of -100 kg contest.
Mongolia was represented at the competitions by 27 male and 23 female judoists. On the first day, the Mongolians grabbed two silver and three bronze medals, on the second day the judoists won one gold, one silver and one bronze medals. As the team results, the Mongolian team became the 3rd following the teams of S.Korea and Japan.
Thanks to winning the gold medal, N.Tuvshinbayar's IJF rank has soared to 12th place. After the World Cup, the judoists will take part in the Grand Slam to run on December 9-11 in Tokyo, Japan.
