MONGOLIA ESTABLISHES DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS WITH TWO COUNTRIES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Mongolia has established the diplomatic relations with the Union of the Comoros and Tuvalu.

The joint documents on the diplomatic relations were signed on December 5 in New York City, USA, by the countries' Permanent Representatives to the United Nations (UN).

The establishment of the diplomatic relations was made under the Foreign Ministry's goal to create such ties with the UN members in frames of the 100th anniversary of contemporary diplomatic service of Mongolia and the 50th anniversary of joining the UN.

The sides have agreed to develop the bilateral relations and cooperation in the political, economic, humanitarian and other sectors by maintaining the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, the UN Charter and principles and norms of international law.
