Employment program reports 68,071 hires
The Government says 68,071 people were hired through its “Employment Support Year – 2011” program through the end of November, including some 29,000 women.
It says 8,424 people in the western aimags, 11,423 in the Khangai region, 11,281 in the central region, 4,855 in the eastern region, and 32,088 in Ulaanbaatar were hired.
Khovd aimag leads the western aimags with 1,898 hires, Arkhangai aimag leads the Khangai region with 2,293, Tuv aimag leads the central region with 2,349, and Dornod aimag leads the eastern region with 2,031.
The Government says 12,602 new hires are working in the construction sector, 11,867 in the agriculture, forestry, and hunting sectors, 8,470 citizens in retail and wholesale trade and auto repair, and 7,800 citizens in processing factories and mining.
