PRESIDENT WORKS IN SELENGE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The President Ts.Elbegdorj met people Saturday in Sukhbaatar, Selenge aimag. He has received their opinions and spoke about his activities and policies. The State Head said not only provinces' governors but even all ordinary people must know a concept of national security, adding that this concept has been amended recently. Then he spoke about an importance of providing locals with rights and freedom, setting social justice, reserving environment, protecting national custom and traditions, giving attention to the foreign policy. “Election promises will not be made, if it is done so, they must be kept,” the State Head said. Now that all people, state servants including, treat these promises as "not very promising", electors should not be upset because the state has solved some matters, on pensions and allowance for students, for example, he said. The President also spoke about the UB city and localities' air pollution and anti-alcoholism measures. The State Head was accompanied by S.Bayartsogt MP, Minister of Finance; T.Badamjunai MP, Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry; E.Bat-Uul MP; authorities of Selenge province.
