Mongol Bank increases policy rate
The officials of the Mongol Bank announced press conference on Tuesday and informed about increase of policy rate.
Directors Council of the bank met on Monday and decided to increase policy rate to 12.25 percent because of inflation raise and costumer goods price increase. Inflation previously influenced to food price but current inflation influence to service price of all sectors. Inflation is 10.5 percent in the state and 11.9 percent in Ulaanbaatar.
Journalists asked commercial banks’ loan granting would relate to policy rate increase of Mongol Bank and the officials stated that actives of commercial banks have not relied on policy rate.
