Former ACA Chief Sangaragchaa released from Prison
The State Supreme Court ordered three Anti-Corruption Authority (ACA) officials convicted of corruption released from custody after a hearing on Wednesday.
ACA Chief Ch.Sangaragchaa, ACA deputy chief D.Sunduisuren, and the head of the ACA’s executive board, U.Altangadas, had each been sentenced to at least two years in prison for betraying state secrets, abusing their official positions, improperly spending state funds, defaming MP S.Erdene, and violating their executive authority.The SSC decided that they should not be detained in prison whatever their sentences.
