DP officials express support for One Democracy Association
Managing officials of the DP, including Chairman N.Altankhuyag, Secretary General D.Erdenebat, and the head of the DP caucus in Parliament, Ch.Saikhanbileg, received representatives of the One Democracy Association on Thursday.
Association Coordinator General M.Batchimeg said the association is working to get young people and women more involved in political decision-making and to contribute their fair shares to implementing the DP platform.
The association is also organizing a forum called “Fair Election, Responsible Politics” relating to the 2012 parliamentary election. The association has also organized a meeting called “Development Talk” in some aimags and capital districts.
N.Altankhuyag said the DP will continue to cooperate with the association and supports its participation in the Mongol Citizen 2020 discussion. He added that the DP believes that democracy can be provided by the party through its own desire and through its own internal democracy, and noted that groups and NGOs are working with the DP to develop the country.
