Citizens’ savings increase
According to Mongol Bank, the total savings of Mongolians have increased by 3.6 percent in October compared to the previous month, and by 61.9 percent compared to October 2011.
Saving growth has been stable in recent months but it was down slightly in September due to foreign currency fluctuations.
The Mongolian tugrug accounts for 75.7 percent of total savings, and foreign currency for 24.3 percent. Tugrug savings increased by five percent compared to October 2010.
