The Speaker pays visit to a power plant in Darkhan
Speaker D.Demberel, the heads of the Standing Committees on State Structure and on Budget paid visit to a power plant in Darkhan. The officials studied work of the power plant, which produces 35 percent of Mongolia or 302.8 million KW of energy and supplies energy to Darkhan-Uul aimag and region of Darkhan-Selenge.
Executive Director of the plant B.Mandalbayar stated that the plant has renewed burning technology of furnaces and noted that the plant has had capacity to supply more energy. Also he told that the plant has normal works of supplying electricity and heat and has profit of MNT66 million in 2010.
D.Demberel signed book containing the names of honored guests and introduced historical photos and documents of the plant.
