President meets with Prince Andrew
President Ts.Elbegdorj met with the Duke of York, Prince Andrew, at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday during his visit to the United Kingdom.
Mongolia’s ambassador to the U.K., B.Altangerel, and the President’s Foreign Policy Advisor, L.Purevsuren, also attended the meeting.
Ts.Elbegdorj briefly described the social and economic situation of Mongolia and noted the significance of British investment and technology in the development of Mongolia’s mining sector. He also suggested organizing an international conference on climate change and nature protection in Ulaanbaatar, and the cooperation of British NGOs and the private sector in assisting with environmental issues in the capital.
Ts.Elbegdorj and Prince Andrew also exchanged opinions on possible cooperation in food processing, infrastructure, and the railway sector.
Prince Andrew recalled his visits to Mongolia and expressed his satisfaction with the intensive development of bilateral relations in economics, trade, and cooperation.
