"ONE POINT SERVICE" CENTER OPENS IN S.KOREA TO HELP MONGOLIANS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Cabinet meeting on Wednesday decided to set up One point service center in Republic of Korea. The center is to protect rights of the Mongolias who live or work in S.Korea, advise them on dealing with social, labour, insurance, welfare and population matters. The Cabinet has obliged the Minister of Social welfare and labour T.Gandi to approve the One point service center's structure and rules and to appoint staffers. Obliged by the mutual understanding memorandum, established between the two countries' Ministries, a Labour and welfare service agency is in charge of all issues concerning Mongolian labour force in S.Korea and administered in September a language test among those willing to work in this country and intend to place over four thousand people's information at the Labour exchange in South Korea. For the time being, 8,500 Mongolians are working in agriculture, construction, fishery, industry spheres in Korea. According to unofficial information, there are 30 thousand Mongolians in Republic of Korea.
