NUMBER OF JOB SEEKERS INCREASES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The number of unemployed registered at Labor and Welfare Service Divisions in both aimags and UB city and of those actively looking for job reached 40.7 thousand at the end of this September, reflecting a 1,816 increase or 4.7 per cent against the previous year. Compared to the same period of the previous year, the increase in the number of registered unemployed is seen due to the increases in Ulaanbaatar city (2,579 people), in provences of Ovorkhangai (1,235), Khovd (1,009), Darkhan-Uul (281), Bayan-Olgii (276), Khentii (202) and Gobisumber (60 people).
