National Council for Children meets to discuss several issues

The National Council for Children met on Wednesday and discussed several issues, including risk prevention, child safety, and children’s camps.

Participants also discussed the implementation of measures proposed at their previous meeting. Also, Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Head of the Council M.Enkhbold addressed council members.

At the meeting it was decided to reward officials who support children’s organizations and causes in their free time.

It was also decided to create a new sub-council to increase parents’ participation in their children’s activities. The council will also ask the State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance to include funding for children’s camps in the state budget. Council members also appealed to aimag governors, the mayor of Ulaanbaatar, and other officials to support children’s causes and improve children’s camps.
