Mongolian embassy opens in Rome
President Ts.Elbegdorj took part in a ceremony marking the opening of the Mongolian Embassy in Rome on Tuesday.
He noted the necessity of opening of an embassy in Italy, due to intensive cooperation in between the two countries in the agriculture, science, education, and culture sectors. He said the new embassy will further bilateral relations and cooperation. He also noted the opportunity to develop cooperation with international organizations based in Rome, such as the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
Italy’s Foreign Affairs Minister, F.Frattini, pledged to support the activity of the new Mongolian embassy in Rome in every way possible.
