MONGOLIA AT GENERAL DEBATE OF UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY'S SESSION
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A Mongolian delegation expressed its position at the General debate of the 1st Committee at the 66th session of the UN General Assembly held October 3-11 in New York, USA.
At the debate, it has been agreed that the international community ought to fully implement measures reflected in the final document which was approved by the 2010 conference on controlling over fulfillment of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. They said the international community also should validate the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) and make endeavor to intensify conferences on disarmament.
Representatives of the participants in the Treaty on Creating Nuclear Weapon-Free Zones have raised a matter on strengthening such zones.
