MONGOLIA AND GERMANY SIGN DOCUMENTS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In a scope of the official visit of Germany's Chancellor Mrs Angela Merkel to Mongolia, the two countries signed Thursday documents. An intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in mineral resources, industrial and technological spheres was signed by D.Zorigt, the Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy and by Peter Schaller, Germany's Ambassador to Mongolia, and Jochen Homann, the State Secretary of the Federal Secretary of Economics and Technology. A treaty on contractual mining extractors was established between the “Erdenes Tavan tolgoi” company and the BBM Operta Group inked by B.Enebish, an executive director of the Erdenes TT, and by Wolfgang Peters, the president of the BBM Operta Group. The Erdenes TT company and the Siemens established a cooperation contract. Moreover, an agreement was inked between the City's Investment Department and Germany's GAUFF Engineering company. The Academy of Sciences of Mongolia and the Council of Nobel Prize Laureates, the Nobel Laureate Meetings at Lindau and Gerda Henkel Foundation established a memorandum of mutual understanding and a scientific cooperation agreement in archeological sector. These documents have been signed by B.Enkhtuvshin, the president of the Academy of Sciences, and by Michael Hanssler, the chairman of the Executive Board of the Gerda Henkel Foundation.
