G.MONKHBAYAR MEETS AMBASSADOR OF CANADA
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city G.Monkhbayar received the Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Canada to Mongolia G.Gregory Goldhawk September 29.
The relations between the two countries entered a new phase after Mr Goldhawk presented his credentials in August last year. G.Monkhbayar said that some 90 percent of 44 projects, implemented in Ulaanbaatar city, are targeted at infrastructure sphere, "so a collaboration in this may be very fruitful". Mr Ambassador noted that the two countries share some common things, for example, dense settlements and weak infrastructure, and said the two sides really can cooperate and share experience. He is ready to mobilize all powers to boost the collaboration, he said. The Ambassador added that he is impressed by Mongolia's rapid economic growth.
