EMERGENCY AID CENTER RECEIVES NEW EQUIPMENT
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A contract was signed October 17 between a Health project of Mongolia's Millennium Challenge account /MMCA/ and the Department of Health. Accordingly, the Department will form in the public healthly lifestyle habits and widen the non-infectious diseases related information, trainings and announcement. The same day, the Health project's team gave the city's Emergency aid center first aid equipment, costing 550 thousand US dollars, and started a training on preparing resuscitate aid traner teachers for doctors and specialists of the Emergency aid center, National emergency management agency, some aimags. This ceremony has been attended by S.Lambaa, the Health Minister, Ts.Tsogzolmaa, the vice Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, Sh.Enkhbat, the head of the Department of Health, Tom Hurley, the vice president of Millennium Challenge corporation in USA, S.Bayarbaatar, the executive director of MMCA and others. The Department of Health has been cooperating with MMCA since October of 2007.
