Mr Demberel said the ADB's investments in running road in western zone have been very fruiful, "especially people of Khovd are grateful for deciding this matter." This road has its vital role in balanced development of regions, he added.
Mr Kuroda said the ADB wants to continue its cooperation with Mongolia, especially to focus on balanced development of western aimags. A plan has been made for collaborating with Mongolia in its infrastructure, especially in road transport, in energy, water issues and in education, he went on.
Mongolian economy's short-term growth is foreseen with 12-13 percent this year, and with the same level next years, but inflation threatens to reach two-digit number, so "Mongolia needs to keep the inflation on one-digit number and to be flexible in a currency policy," he said.
