D.DEMBEREL MEETS WITH GERMANY'S CHANCELLOR
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ On Thursday, the Parliament Speaker told the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) Mrs Angela Merkel that he is satisfied with her visit. He thanked Mrs Merkel for delivering speech at a honorary meeting of the parliamentary session. "I am really satisfied with a high level development of the Mongolia-Germany relations, and I hope Your visit will bring the ties into a higher level," he said. He spoke about the Mongolia-Germany friendship group at the State Great Khural, and underlined that mutual visits and experience sharing between MPs have big importance in strengthening the inter-parliamentary relations and inter-citizenship ties. The Chancellor Merkel expressed a satisfaction with giving speech at the parliamentary meeting, and said the German people always pay attention to Mongolia's democracy and development and make efforts to help Mongolia. She is glad that the countries have a great opportunity to deepen the relations and cooperation, she added. Present at the meeting were N.Enkhbold and G.Batkhuu, Vice Speakers; O.Enkhtuvshin MP, chairman of the parliamentary faction of Mongolian People's Party; Ch.Saikhanbileg, a head of the DemParty's faction; Ts.Sharavdorj, general secretary of the parliamentary office and others.
