COMMITTEE CHOOSES DEVICES FOR ELECTION
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Mongolia's General election committee /GEC/ selected October 10 the techniques and devices that might be used in/for the election.
The gathered discussed an earlier apponted working group's views and conclusion on researching and selecting the staff that is used for registering, collecting and counting ballot papers. The talk has ended in the decision to use S.Korean “Miru Data system” company machine that registers voters, and the U.S. "DS200" that collects and counts ballor papers.
The GEC intends to submit its decision to the Standing committee on State structure.
