CWP joins Liberal International
The Civil Will Party (CWP) has been admitted as a member of Liberal International, a London-based organization of liberal political parties. The CWP was admitted at the 187th meeting of the executive committee of Liberal International in London on October 14 and 15.
The CWP has taken part in Liberal International activities as an observer since 2007, but is now a full member. At the meeting, CWP chief and MP S.Oyun stated the party’s ideology and goals. CWP delegates met with delegates from other nations who expressed their support, including delegates from Canada, Finland, and Senegal.
The head of Britain’s Liberal Democratic Party and Deputy British Prime Minister Nick Clegg received S.Oyun during the meeting. N.Clegg noted that the CWP has become an exponent of liberal ideology in Mongolia, and the two exchanged ideas for future collaboration between their parties.
S.Oyun pledged that the CWP would be an active member of Liberal International.
