STATE MUSEUM OF MONGOLIA OPENS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A ceremony took place on Wednesday to open a State Museum of Mongolia in the Government House.
This museum has some 2,000 exhibits, including flags and stamps used for state ceremonies through the Mongolian history and other unique things. The museum is founded in accordance with the cabinet resolution of 2005 to establish the Complex of Chingis Khaan's memorial by annexing the Government House. In frames of the 800th anniversary of the Great Mongolia Empire, the museum's exhibits were collected, in which much efforts were made by the Cabinet Secretariat of Government, the museum's administration and other organizations.
Present at the ceremony were Ch.Khurelbaatar, the head of the Cabinet Secretariat; Yo.Otgonbayar, the Minister of Education, Culture and Science; some MPs and ministers.
