CABINET WANTS TO INCREASE OIL PRODUCTS SUPLLY AND STABILIZE PRICES
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On Monday, the Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy D.Zorigt introduced to the cabinet works of increasing oil product supply and stabilizing the price of oil products.
The cabinet obliged the Minister to seek a possibility of reducing the VAT for oil products, connect it with the customs and excise taxes, and submit a related proposal to the cabinet after the border price of oil products for this February has been clarified.
The cabinet decided to tackle a matter on buying fuels for reserve with MNT 16.3 billion already placed in the state budget for 2012. Some Ministers were ordered to raise to the goverment and parliament levels a matter on MNT 22 billion that are needed in the first turn for reserving 30-day fuels at least and erecting a fuel store.
