PM urges Parliament to “urgently” discuss ministerial appointments
Prime Minister S.Batbold submitted his nominees for six ministerial vacancies to Speaker D.Demberel on Tuesday.
S.Batbold said the nominees were submitted in accordance with provisions of the Constitution and the law on government.
The Premier told journalists that the Government should resume work with urgency and continuity. He said there are many issues to deal with, such as price regulation. He said the Cabinet Secretariat meeting needs all members in attendance. He said that is why the nominees had been submitted to the Speaker, and he called on Parliament to urgently discuss the issue.
S.Batbold said that Speaker D.Demberel told him the appropriate Standing Committees and Parliament will discuss the issue.
