Road and transportation sector creates 3,000 jobs
The Road and Transportation Office says new road construction and other projects generated 3,000 new jobs in 2011.
The office says unemployed workers were trained for road construction and repair projects, and were employed in other capacities in the transportation sector.
The Government has praised the office for its investment, improvements in management, and job-creation programs as part of the Government’s year of employment support in 2011.
