PM to submit names of ministerial nominees to President
Prime Minister S.Batbold will submit the names of ministers nominated to fill the vacancies created by the DP’s withdrawal from the coalition government to President Ts.Elbegdorj on Tuesday.
The law on government states that ministerial nominations must be submitted to the president, and after that Parliament must ratify the nominations.
The MPP caucus has decided to nominate Chief of the Standing Committee on Budget D.Khayankhyarvaa for finance minister; Ts.Dashdorj for road, transportation and urban development minister; J.Enkhbayar for defense minister; MPP Secretary General U.Khurelsukh for first deputy premier; former Secretary State of the Health Ministry N.Khurelbaatar for health minister; and former Secretary State of Foreign Affairs and Trade Ministry D.Tsogtbaatar for nature, environment and tourism minister.
