NAT'L CONSUMER PRICE INDEX INCREASES
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The national consumer price index in December of 2011 increased by 2.0 per cent compared to the previous month, and by 10.2 per cent against the previous year.
Annual average inflation rate stood at 9.2 per cent. The increase in national index, compared to the previous month, was mainly due to 3.8 per cent increase in food and non-alcoholic beverages.
