MONGOLIA TO ORGANIZE ASIAN YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR BASKETBALL
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Mongolia has got a right to host the 22nd Asian Youth Championships for Basketball.
It will take place from June 25 through July 7 in the Sports Complex in Buyant-Ukhaa. Including the Mongolian team, the competitions will attract 15 countries to be selected from five zones.
For the time being, seven teams have been qualified to compete in the Asian Championships, said R.Tsevegmid, an official of the Basketball Federation of Mongolia (BFM).
The winner team will be awarded a right to take part in the Youth World Championships for Basketball, representing Asia.
