EMBASSY PROPAGANDIZES MONGOLIA IN THAILAND
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Embassy of Mongolia in the Kingdom of Thailand organized on Thursday a measure for propagandizing Mongolia.
It was opened by Mr. L.Dashpurev, Mongolia's Ambassador to Thailand, and by Mr. Pascorn Siriyaphan, a director-general of the East-Asian Department of Thailand's Foreign Ministry. Mr. Dashpurev emphasized an importance of the action running before the 20th anniversary of the democratic Constitution of Mongolia. He noted that the two countries have been developing the friendly relations since establishment of the diplomatic relations in 1974, and said the relations and cooperation became more active when Mongolia entered the democratic and market-economy system in 1990.
At the event, a publisher B.Batbayar gave a lecture on the Mongolian history, then a photo exhibition and a documentary about Mongolia were presented.
The two sides expressed a willingness to co-organize such a measure in future.
Present were some members of the Thailand-Mongolia friendship group at the National Assembly of Thailand; diplomats of Thailand's Foreign Ministry; representatives of some organizations cooperating with Mongolia; D.Gankhuyag, a director of the Consular Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and others.
