Ciolos to visit Mongolia for agriculture talks
EU Farm Commissioner Dacian Ciolos is to visit Mongolia this weekend to discuss increased co-operation with the authorities there on sustainable agriculture, food security and rural development.
The Asian country faces a number of difficulties in its farming sector, including self-sufficiency, environmental degradation and desertification, while rapid urbanisation and the growing mining sector have also brought changes to Mongolian culture.
