Montsame became executive board member of OANA
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ From 24 to 27 November in Istanbul, Turkey has successfully completed the 14th General Assembly of the Organization of News Agencies in Asia and the Pacific.
In its Assembly was represented by the Director of "MONTSAME" news agency, T. Baasansuren.
According to the decision at an ordinary General assembly, Mongolian news agency MONTSAME will organize a regular meeting of the Executive Board OANA in June 2011 in Ulaanbaatar. In addition, the Mongolian news agency elected to the Executive Board OANA, consisting of 11 members. Turkey's Anadolu Agency assumed rotating presidency of OANA. While the Indonesian agency Antara as well as the Russian agency ITAR-TASS news agency, Bernama / Malaysia / and IRNA / Iran became deputy presidents of OANA. The members of the Executive Board but also includes news agencies MONTSAME, Yonhap / South Korea / PTI / India / Azertac / Azerbaijan and / Xinhua China.
Anadolu Agency (A.A) Executive Board Chairman & Director General Hilmi Bengi became the new president of OANA during the 14th General Assembly of OANA.
