Foreign Minister of Mongolia attended meeting of SCO
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ With the aims to contribute to the development of activities and cooperation of member- countries and observer countries of Shanghai Cooperation Organization /SCO/, a Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia G.Zandanshatar has proposed to hold a forum of scientists of SCO countries in Ulaanbaatar in 2012.
He sounded this initiative in his speech at an enlarged meeting of the Council of Heads of Governments /Prime Ministers/ of SCO member-states held in Tajikistan's capital Dushanbe on 25 November 2010. As known, the representatives of the member- states of the SCO have agreed to further boost economic and regional cooperation within the SCO framework.
As part of its meeting, the Minister Zandanshatar exchanged views on the bilateral relations with the Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao, Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Masimov, Iranian First Vice-President Esfandiar Rahim Mashaie, Kyrgyzstan's president and interim Premier R.Otunbayeva, Tajik Foreign Minister Khamrokhon Zarifi, Pakistan's Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, India's Minister for Power Sushilkumar Shinde, and Minister of Economy of Afghanistan Abdulkhidi Argandivol.
