Agreement signed between Mongolia and international organization

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On Wednesday, 24 November in Geneva, an agreement was signed between the Government of Mongolia and the International Organization for Migration / IOM /. Document with the Mongolian side has signed the Permanent Representative of Mongolia Ambassador L. Orgil, on the other hand - IOM Director General William Swing.

During the ceremony of signing this agreement, Mr. Swing said the importance of enhancing relations between Mongolia and the IOM and the opening of a representative of his organization in Ulaanbaatar. He also confirmed the intention to visit Mongolia for a visit in the first half of 2011.

On November 23 the UN headquarters in Geneva, held its annual bazaar of the Women's Guild of the UN / UN Women's Guild /. The main idea of the event is to unite the world in a single venue for the national identity of peoples, through their traditions, cuisine, souvenirs and other products. The proceeds are directed to charitable purposes of the UN. For example, funds which collected from last year event - 300 thousand swiss francs - implemented about 60 small projects.

In the event of Mongolia, opened on the corner which provided a variety of national souvenirs, products of some Mongolian producers, and visitors were offered dishes of national cuisine.
