New laws needed for cyber crimes

The debate on aspects of national security, organized by the President’s Office, the Civil Hall and the Standing Committee on Security and Foreign Policy, ended yesterday after four sessions. Participants urged new laws to deal specifically with cyber crimes. The present provisions of the Criminal Law do not cover electronic data theft and hacker attacks.
