Mongolia to announce its partner in Tavan Tolgoi

Within the framework of 5-day visit to Japan by the President of Mongolia, Ts.Edegdorj, an official from the Mongolian Finance Ministrer Dorjhand stated that Mongolia’s partner in TT project shall be announced by the end of the month according to Bloomberg. The report also speculates that among foreign investors expressed interest in partnering with Mongolian in this project, China’s Shen Hua Energy Co. group possess a greater possibility to be selected by the Mongolian Government.
