Honorary consul of Mongolia opens in Milan
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ An opening of a Mongolia's Honorary Consulate took place in Milan city, Italy, on November 17. Present were Milan city leaderships, business delegation, honorary consuls in Milan, Mongolians who live there, the Ambassador to Italy J.Enkhsaikhan, and visiting this country Governor of UB city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar G.Munkhbayar.
The Ambassador said in his speech that the new Honorary Consul Ts.Gantuya must prioritize interests of Mongolian citizens, pay attention not only to her consul works but also to developing a cooperation in cultural and economic spheres between the two countries. He gave her a stamp of Honorary Consul, an exequator, given from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy, and the State flag of Mongolia and concluded related protocol.
A 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Italian Republic is marked this year, in connection with which a Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia visited Rome and proposed setting up Mongolia's Embassy in Rome.
