Reserve meat to be sold in retail

The Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry /MFALI/ and Mayor’s Office have reserved 12 tons of meat for capital city residents and meat would be sold from January 15. But there is suspicion that meat could be sold through meat traders because they cheaply bought reserve meat and sold to the consumers in high price in previous years. Our reporter asked Chief of Food Industry, Trade and Service Policy Regulation Board under the MFALI, Ch.Enkh-Amgalan about the issue. He answered Mayor’s Office tomorrow will discuss the issue at a meeting and talk where could be sold reserve meat and how to prevent meat traders buy reserve meat. Meat will be sold retail because of meat traders buying in a large quantity.
