Mayor meets Chinese ambassador
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Mayor of Ulaanbaatar G.Monkhbayar received Tuesday Mr. Yu Hongyao, the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Mongolia, in conjunction with completion of his mission.
The Mayor has expressed a satisfaction with an increase of investments from China targeted to Ulaanbaatar city, and thanked the government and people of China for making the investments. He has said that the Peace bridge has been repaired with an investment of China's government after the ambassador presented his credentials adding Mongolia received Sports Palace, which hwas erected during the mission of Mr. Hongyao.
G.Monkhbayar emphasized a significant contribution of the ambassador to opening of a representative of Ulaanbaatar city in Tianjin city. Noting that former Mayors of Ulaanbaatar paid visits to Beijing, G.Monkhbayar asked the ambassador to pay an attention to organizing a visit of Beijing city's Mayor to Ulaanbaatar.
In turn, the Chinese ambassador has said he is satisfied with an intensive development of the ties between the capital cities, and expressed thanks to G.Monkhbayar for supporting him during the dipmission. He has promised to encourage the Beijing Mayor to visit Ulaanbaatar.
