President worries about air pollution
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The President Ts.Elbegdorj held Tuesday a consultation to consider problems with air pollution in the city with chairmen of factions of parties, heads of some Standing committees, parliamentarians and authorities of the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy and Ulaanbaatar.
They have shared views on ways of reducing the pollution, financial resources and technical solutions.
The President has said that the pollution level has reached a level of a disaster, and underlined that despite many-year talks there are no outcomes to feel and to see.
He has said that all citizens, the government, parliament, and ministries must plan appropriate measures to deal with the problem. The he put forward his proposals.
The State Head has ordered related officials to urgently work out draft laws and resolutions consulting with professional organizations based on these proposals, and to submit them to the National Security Council.
