"UB CUP" BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT TO RUN
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On occasion of the 50th anniversary of Mongolia's Federation of Basketball (MFB), the UB Cup international tournament for basketball will take place under auspices of the Ulaanbaatar city Mayor G.Monkhbayar.
The MFB's head Ts.Monkh-Orgil and a secretary-general B.Dashdorj have shared views on organization the upcoming tournament with Yutaka Mizutani, a director of International Affairs at Japan Basketball, and M.Fujita, a general coach of the national team. The Japanese officials have reported that they will collaborate with the MFB in having the Mongolian national team participate in the East Asian and Asian championships.
The UB Cup tournament will be attended by Mongolia's "Khartsaga" team and others from Japan and Russia.
