Khan-Uul district delegation visits Ereen, Inner Mongolia
The Khan-Uul district has had a cooperative agreement with the city of Ereen in Inner Mongolia since 2002.
In conjunction with that agreement, a delegation from the district headed by Governor J.Gankhuyag recently visited Ereen to meet with the city’s mayor, Bao Sun Min, and other officials.
The two sides discussed widening cooperation among the administrative organizations of the two cities, and organizing mutual visits and meetings. The officials also signed a memorandum of cooperation in many sectors, based on the rules and laws of the two countries.
The sides also decided to intensify business cooperation between the two cities, organize a tour to Khan-Uul district to inspect apartment and infrastructure construction, develop a partnership between a secondary school in the district and an international language school in Ereen, and organize student exchange programs.
The two sides also agreed to exchange doctors and nurses between hospitals, and exchange professional and technological expertise. The officials agreed to send two or three Mongolian doctors to Ereen’s hospital every year.
The tourism sector will also be developed between the two sides, and ad campaigns will be organized. Khan-Uul district will hold a “Culture Days” festival in Ereen in May.
