FINANCIAL AGREEMENT BACKED
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The cabinet meeting on Wednesday discussed and backed a draft law on ratifying a financial agreement between the governments of Mongolia and the Republic of France. It will be submitted to the State Great Khural.
If the agreement is passed, France will give Mongolia a soft-loan of EUR 5.05 million for improving facilities of the first aid and emergency rooms of the National Center of Traumatology (NCT).
This is not first loan granted by France. In 1999, the NCT's intensive care unit and surgery sections were equipped and doctors were trained with assistance of ten million French Franc from the government of France, and with a non-refundable aid of EUR 400 thousand granted from the EU TASIS programme.
