PREMIER RECEIVES AMBASSADOR OF S.KOREA
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister S.Batbold has thanked Mr. Jong IL, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Mongolia, for his big efforts to widen the bilateral ties in the fields of politics, trade, economics, culture, education and the inter-citizen relations.
The Premier said it on Thursday during a meeting with the Ambassador of the South Korea whose dipmission here has been completed. The President of the Republic of Korea Lee Myung-bak visited Mongolia, and the bilateral relations have been brought into a new step in times of the dipmission of Mr. Jong IL, the PM went on.
He emphasized that an establishment of a middle-term program of the bilateral cooperation is an important document determining tendency of the ties. The Premier hoped that the countries will reach mutually-beneficial agreements on facilitating the visa terms, on expanding the civil aviation ties and on exploiting the biggest deposits of mineral resources. "I hope that Mr. Jong IL will continue his contribution to our relations," he stressed.
In turn, Mr. Jong IL thanked the government of Mongolia for cooperating, and said a young diplomat will replace him soon. He added that he is giving advising his successor how to widen the bilateral relations.
