Price Stabilizing Council delivers report

The Price Stabilizing Council delivered its latest report at the Government meeting on Wednesday.

Finance Minister and council head D.Khayankhyarvaa said the council decided to sell an additional ten tons of meat from the meat reserve to compensate public transit companies for losses suffered due to rising fuel prices.

He also said the council has prepared a plan to monitor and stabilize food and consumer goods prices.

Cabinet members asked D.Khayankhyarvaa and the relevant ministers to report to the Government on their efforts to control prices, and to implement all measures in a timely fashion.

Members also directed the National Statistics Committee and the Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority to report food and goods prices to the Government on a weekly basis.
