MPP CONFERENCE BEGINS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister S.Batbold delivered a report themed "Development program for people" at an opening of the 3rd Conference of the Mongolian People's Party (MPP). It started on Thursday in the Palace of Independence, where the headquarters of the party is located.
S.Batbold emphasized that the party aims to increase salaries of state servants to MNT 1.3 million in the years 2012-2016, and to MNT 2.5 in 2016-2021.
He said that their party will realize a program called "Temporary flats for youths" within the "100 thousand apartments" program, and also announced that every family with more than four children will be provided with a free-of-charge apartments from 2016.
The conference has brought together some 200 delegates, including N.Bagabandi, a former President of Mongolia; the MPP faction; the conference members; governors of some aimags.
The Conference plans to elect its new members suggesting candidates N.Khurelbaatar, the Minister of Health; D.Tsogtbaatar, the Minister of Environment and Tourism; P.Bayanmonkh, the Vice Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry; and B.Tsengel, the Vice Minister of Road, Transport, Construction and Urban Development.
The Conference is still continuing.
